I’ve been taking the Barr ( orange football shaped / taste like candy ) IR 20mg’s for the past few months and haven’t had any problems. I just got a full script of the Sandoz generics an the past few days I’ve been getting terrible headaches from them. I always drink a couple bottles o water when I’m on addys so I know it’s not a dehydration issue. Is tere any other precautions to take so thus doesn’t reaccure ?
Thanks

I’ve never heard of headaches happening more often with one generic vs. another generic, but it could be due to an allergic reaction to a filler/inactive ingredient that’s in the Sandoz generics.
If you have the time, I would look up both generics and compare the list of inactive ingredients. As far as the headaches go for now, I would take a naproxen sodium (Aleve) tablet with your Adderall. It’s an NSAID and is generally safe, works wonders for headaches. As you already mentioned, if you’re keeping hydrated, I doubt it is an hydration issue. Make sure you’re eating enough, though.

it could be due to the vasoconstriction…
try taking 500mg curcumin, its a great vasodilator.

This! If not Aleve then Advil/Motrin will also work very well. If you have Clonidine to take with them, take it – it is great mixed with amphetamines as it lowers the BP (which is probably what is causing the headache anyway).
